The essays/articles, blog, and photos on this website are intended to aid teachers as well as entertain or inform.

To your left is a photo of the statue of a surfer in the main square of Imperial Beach, Calif., the most southwestern town in the USA. It is just south of San Diego. I am posting it here in honor of my brother who lived there for decades and recently disappeared in a scuba diving accident while on vacation in Bonaire and is presumed dead.  He loved living in IB. He also loved surfing and scuba diving.
